I bought the vehicle dissembled and only have the 3 way for the rear axle. I'm going off parts book which lists it as a 4 way p/n 7411137. The connections are as follows:
master cylinder,
Front left cylinder,
front right cylinder and
rear brakes.

14  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Cylinder head bolts on: January 04, 2013, 03:11:14 PM
Hi all,

After removing the cylinder head of my engine (FX block with FB/EK head) I have found them all to be the same length. The parts manual list there being. 8 short and 7 long bolts. Can anyone tell what sizes they should be as I'm replacing the bolts.
15  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: cylinder head part numbers on: January 02, 2013, 05:29:52 PM
Ken,

There is no prefix to the engine number. I can only assume that at some point it has been bored to take the larger pistons.

Ken,

The number that is next to the part number is D 121. Also as I had to remove the cylinder head I was able to confirm that the engine is a 138 as it has p/n 7406476 pistons fitted. The engine block s/n is 116656 & p/n 7400479.

19  Technical Board / Restoration Help / cylinder head part numbers on: January 01, 2013, 01:31:45 PM
Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the cyl head I have on my engine is the correct one, as when I bought the car it came with the engine in pieces and was told it was a 138 bought as a replacement when the original engine block cracked. The engine (minus the head and flywheel) I have since discovered is from an FX. The part number cast on the head is 7412811.

Thank you
