I am looking at new springs for my HR front end. I'm using standard height spindles with VS brakes. A mate suggested i get HK V8 springs with 50mm lowering. Can anyone advise what this would equate to when the weight of an inj 5L is on it, as far as ride height goes? Can anyone offer a better solution? Looking at 16" rims eventually. Cheers.

I had that issue mate. Both front doors. I ended up drilling through the centre and using a screw extractor. Finally got them out without damaging the thread.

Nah, not the whole pipes, but under front floors or mufflers, then wrap the rest?

What about some heat shielding from a commo? Might be able to rig it up.
