G'day all, my dilemma is I have a fe van, I wish to restore the body back to being windowless which is not impossible but it will be a lot easier to leave the windows, not sure which way to go now as the windows are growing on me now  ???I'm not 100% sure of the vans history but was told there was a plywood type seat in the back and judging by the size of the forward window it looks to be the sliding type window size? can anyone give me a size for that canopy industry window that slides please, I measured the vans forward window in the centres, 705mm horizontal and 335mm vertically also it looks like it had hand straps on the pillars both sides was this something done in this rear seat conversions? I noticed the front bracing is removed for that fold down seat and my van still has it in place? I know it's a long shot but does anyone have a set of those windows and rear seat they wish to sell or the seat mechanisms that I could borrow to try and make some? as making the seat is easy just getting the mechanisms right will be the challenge any info or help would be great thanks Darren.

 Just wondering does anyone have or know someone with a van too far gone, I'm chasing van sides or even just the 6 internal vertical braces (3 each side) also front doors, guards.

thanks guys, I cant remember where the bridge was, this was a trip to Bathurst not long after I got her from an ol bloke in the canterbury area, he kept her registered just in case he had to go somewhere god bless him but with a flat tyre and battery I don't think so after sitting for who knows how long pumped up the tyre jump start and took her home, on the way to Bathurst the first servo she blew her radiator cap, cleaned her herself out and after that she was one of the best original daily drivers I've had she did not look new but I'll tell you she drove like a new one! I took her up to hill end when I think of this car she had the true aussie spirit the places she went where other models would not make it this was a car truly designed for Australian conditions. I think for memory I sold it to guy from the blue mountains anyway just sharing some old pics it's funny back then didn't really care for the finer detailed history but these days I'm really interested to know.

Here's a pic of a FE I had in the 90's sold her mid 90's I wonder if she survived.
