yer thanks boys , but with everything freight with front ends is the hassle , oil and gas has put the prices up on freight will do a bit more hunting around to see if i can get front end closer than going 1500ks away.

with the hr front ends getting scarce on the ground has anyone done a conversion with a hk front end , are these adaptable . I know that the chassis mounts would have to change but unsure of the track.

Most of the parts from donor will go I need the floor and chassis rails for the ute . I only showed the good side of the donor she sat on her side for 30yrs after being rolled . Anything that can be salvaged will be and if not used passed on to someone who can.

There is the complete engine , 1 block , 2short engines , side plate for engine , oil bath air cleaners x 2 , will separate and take so more pics , also will swap two bonnets for a fluted one if available

mate I am more than 300km away went to Melton in January that was 1500 km one way, all I would want in exchange is a hr front end , 4 speed gearbox and a disc brake Salisbury complete diff nothing much . The k frame is not for sale will have other bits off the donor car up shortly its fc sedan .

yes I have been reading them and are bloody good builds , like where you pulled the whole floorpan out and sills will do the same, so that bloody rust doesn't come back when shes all together again and spoil it .

have not seen enough fe fc to hr front ends , am wondering why cant you put a ball joint front end wishbones onto fe front ends rather than change out the entire front  . What is the reason

With fitting a hr front end to fe ute can I put hq disc on and want to run 10 bolt Salisbury can I use the calipers or run different ones . Also what front stub axles. Can be run
