21  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: Horn wiring connection on a 59 FC wagon. on: August 26, 2021, 10:38:55 AM
I believe Holden switch the Earth (negative), so check where the wire a the bottom of steering is going to, should be Earthed. Power (positive) to the horn at all times, hope this helps.
Cheers

Bugger.

I didn’t even know that was on, that 10 minutes from my place.

How do we get to see what events are coming up?
Ric.

I think you need to be a member of the FE FC Holden Car Club of NSW to get messages about runs etc.

Maybe you can make a heavy wall spacer tube with the length of the contact length of the conrod pieces & torque the bolts & nuts up in a vyce. Cheers John

36  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: '59 FC Sticky front brakes. on: May 24, 2020, 08:01:01 PM
Be careful using Stainless Steel Sleeves & Pistons as simular metals will pick up on each other.
37  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Re: Fc battery tray on: May 17, 2020, 08:26:13 PM
Battery trays are like wiper switch knobs, gear knobs and front subframes, unfortunately.
How badly rusted is yours, and how are your welding skills?

Rob

I have Gear Knobs available.
