Hi All. Thought some of you might like to see an advert I recently acquired. I collect all FE FC adverts (and a few others) and would be happy to post pics of some on a regular basis. Let me know if you would be interested in this. If you have an advert you would like to donate to my collection, let me know. FE Advert from House and Garden, April 57. Regards Alex

Nice to see you on the forum. Congrats on the CD John. I'll be buying one, i'm sure there will be others in the club also, so we will get together and buy them all together to save confusion. Looking forward to hearing it. Thank you also for the one that you sent the club for the raffle. I was hoping to win it, but John Rap got in there first. Regards Alex

Got my Trax FE's delivered last week. IMO The actual models are better than the pics they have been using on their site and in the brochure. I like the 2 tone blue one the best. Can't wait for the next dozen releases. Regards Alex

Hey Steve. You build one hell of a nice car. I remember seeing it at the Summernats back in the 80's. I drooled for a week after. Here is your pic. To post your pic, just put [img.] in front, and [/img.] behind the URL, only don't put the dot in the bracket, leave it off completely. I needed to put it in there to be able to show you. Regards Alex

`Last' Camaro Sells for $71,500
The last new Camaro to be sold by Chevrolet — a red, T-topped Z-28 — brought a tidy $71,500 at a charity auction.
"I got a little crazy," said the buyer, Mark Gembinski, a 32-year-old business manager from Mayville, Mich. "I paid a lot more than I wanted to, but I wanted it bad."
When Gembinski was born, his father took him home from the hospital in a 1969 Camaro.
His Z-28 wasn't the last Camaro to roll off the assembly line — that car is headed for Chevrolet's museum. Gembinski's car was second-to-last, produced last week at a General Motors plant in St. Therese, Quebec.
More than 4 million Camaros were sold since the muscle car debuted in fall 1966 with the 1967 model. It reached its heyday in the disco days of the 1970s but sold poorly in the era of SUVs and imports, and last September, General Motors announced it would stop making the Camaro, along with the Pontiac Firebird.
Gembinski bought his Camaro on Sunday at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival, and proceeds will go to the National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere.
"It's a very sad day for us," said Scott Settlemire, Chevrolet's assistant brand manager for the Camaro line. "But the money is going somewhere good."
Regards Alex

Here are some pics of some cars I picked up years ago. They are made for HO scale (1:87) train models. They are made of cast metal, hand painted and are well proportioned. Both these are FE Holdens even though the pack refers to them as FC. Cost $10 each.
