nes138 Let me know and I will take some photos of my mounts and the V6 Conversions sump in the car if you like. The sump was not very expensive when I bought it and it fits really well.
Have you strengthened under your cross member when you fitted your rack?

nes138 I found that there was only one position for the mounts when I started my V6 conversion, I have a rear mounted V6 Conversion rack and I also use Pats sump because of the design of the sump part of it has to fit between the cross member and the rack so it pretty much positions the mounts.

I don't know what sump you are using or thinking of using but keep it in mind. As for clearance on the fire wall because of my sump and rack it fits very nicely and is not jammed against the firewall the only issue I had was the EK elec wiper motor I had hit the cable operated throttle butterfly but the VP wiper mod solves that problem beautifully.

Hope this helps.

I know it is a F@%D colour but I really like their new orange. If my car hadn't been painted when I bought it all those years ago I would be tempted to go orange.

Just received my washer nozzles from the states on friday and fitted them. They are great and work really well. Have now completed the installation and everything working from the new switch that was mentioned in the wiper motor mod.
One question "Where my nozzles screw in at the base of the wiper arms both nozzles are on the passenger side should one be on the left and one on the right I am thinking that somebody in the past may have fitted 2 drivers side bezzals as the passenger side washer nozzle does spray a little to the passenger side."

Just saw your rebuild Jim it looks like you have made some great progress. You are very lucky to be able to get some of that NOS stuff. I wish I had of gone and done mine like you have done yours when I first started 16 years ago now I just want to finish it and get it registered and then maybe go back when I have more time and finances.

Keep the pictures coming

Jim I bought a washer bottle kit years ago when I started my conversion and I don't remember where I got it. It does screw to the inner guard however the motor/pump is underneath and I have been having drama with the motor hitting the step of the inner guard and not letting the screw holes on the bottle luggs sit low enough so I went and purchased a polished metal tank from Rares, the motor also fits underneath but I have modified it so the motor now sits in the side and welded up the hole in the bottom so that there are no more issues.
I have seen a plastic tank that had the motor recessed into the front and I think I was told it was a HQ but I'm not really sure.

Good news about the nozzles being on their way you will probably get yours first as I'm in WA.

Jim or anybody else can you tell me the OD of the washer nozzle pipe under the dash. I went to put the hose from the kit I have on to the pipes the other day and it is slightly to big in the ID.
Promise this is my last question on this thread Grin

Good news I put a screw driver on the plugs in my bezzels and they just unscrewed without any effort, I've had the car 16 years and never touched them so they must have been taken out sometime in the past or I am just lucky.

Anyway will order a couple of the Rover nozzles from Mark Richmond and problem solved.

Thanks for the help.

Your right Jim I just printed out the document and the nozzle looks good (page 19 of the doc). I like the idea of being able to adjust them both ways. I will wait and see if I can get my screws out before buying a pair but I agree with you the price is good.

I'm after advice as to what other people have done regarding windscreen washers.
I know that there was an original nozzle that screwed into the base of the wiper mount but haven't been able to find any through my scrounging.

I purchased a kit some time ago but the nozzles that I have require me to drill holes in my bonnet and I'm not really happy to do that, maybe only as a last resort.

Are the original ones available aftermarket now or does anybody have a set for sale. Grin
