Club price was $70 they have two different size screws, three for the top & sides and a longer one for the bottom. As I said yesterday I found the part fitted fine, it looks great and was worth the wait. Now it will have to wait for the rest of the car so I can see how good it all looks.

1091  General / General Board / Re: Chrome on: December 03, 2011, 09:09:00 AM
I spoke to a mate last night about my car and getting the chrome redone, he told me about this mob and said a lot of his mates in the mustang club use them and they all swear by them. Maybe worth a look see and find out what they charge. I'm looking to get my grill badge redone, but I think I'll try them with a less important part like the tail light surrounds first --just incase.

G'day all, I have just returned from picking up the new dash facia from Rares Prospect. I've done a test fit on dash panel and it fits really well. The only thing I had to do was ream out the screw holes a little to get the screws started, then fitted it up.

Hopr this will soothe some of your nerves.

It helps to have a second pair of hands, you need to make sure the plate is in place first, then place the barrel&arm through the boot & the plate. Make sure the arm is located in the lock fully & then push the plate up over the tabs in the barrel. It can be a bit of a pain due to the lack of room but you just need to keep at it.

All you have to do is check with your rta to see if that plate is in use if not you should be able to claim it. It sure would be neat to have the original plates for the car.
