Hi Scott, I reckon I've got one at my parents place. I'm currently out scrounging in western NSW, but will have a look for you when we get home.

Cheers,
Graham

You should have stopped in at the Nindigully Pub for a "Roadtrain Burger"
43  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Re: And the winners are? on: May 02, 2014, 09:59:26 AM
While we were at Hobart, Tony Galea told me that the original sports trophy is at his place....

I think Tim & Bec also carted the new trophy across the Nullarbor. It's probably travelled the Nullarbor more than most of us!

Cheers,

Graham

45  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Re: FINISHED !! on: April 24, 2014, 08:27:49 AM
The ACT crew all made it home safely at about 5pm yesterday (Wednesday). We had an awesome time at the Nat's. Thanks to the Weddo's and the Tassie club for a fantastic time.

Now we can look forward to Toowoomba, less than 2 years to save some more money & make plans.

Cheers,
Graham & Kathy

Oh Graeme, what a bummer. So near, yet so far. I was really looking forward to checking out your car, it's looking fantastic.

I guess we'll see you at the Nat's in 2 years?

47  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Canberra trip to the Hobart Nat's on: April 15, 2014, 05:59:46 AM
Finally the day has come for us to depart on our adventure to the apple isle. Typically, before a trip away, I had trouble sleeping last night. I've been awake since 3am & at 5am decided I may as well get out of bed & make a cup of tea.

Still a few last minute things to pack before we leave home at about 8.30am to meet with the other 5 Canberra cars out on the highway. As usual I'm REALLY looking forward to the trip, where we'll have a lot of fun, can't wait to see all our friends in the FE-FC movement, and we'll probably make some new friends as well.

I hope everyone has a safe trip to Hobart & we'll see you all there.

Cheers,

Graham

Hi All,
I have a genuine Nasco FE-FC external Sunvisor for sale. It would need a good clean and a coat of paint, but is in pretty good condition.

Asking $150

For anyone going to the Hobart Nationals, I could take it with me if you let me know before Tuesday.

Cheers,

51  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Re: National Automobile Museum of Tasmania, Launceston. on: March 16, 2014, 07:51:24 PM
Hi Darcy,
The ACT Club (6 cars & 10 people) already have a visit scheduled to this museum on Thursday 17th at about 10am, after getting off the boat & travelling to Launceston for breakfast at the "Stillwater Cafe".

Should we piggyback onto your visit, or would you prefer if I contacted the museum separately?

After visiting the museum, we're planning a lunch stop possibly at Oatlands, before continuing on to Hobart.

Cheers,
Graham

Well, after a FANTASTIC weekend in Perth, we're now well on our way home.

Thanks to all in the WA Club for hosting such an excellent event, you can all be very proud of yourselves.

Also Congratulations to Graham & Cathy on their marriage (what a great wedding!).

We departed Perth at 5am on Tuesday & made it to Balladonia for the night (about 1000km), via Kalgoorlie, where we had lunch. As you'll read in one of the other posts, we came across Gary & Bruce having some trouble with the Ambulance at Kambalda. We overtook Graham (?) with the Red panelvan from Mackay, just North of Norseman. Dennis & Lyn were already at Balladonia when we arrived at about 6pm.

This morning we headed off at about 6.30am and travelled about 1000km again to arrive in Ceduna at about 7pm.

Tomorrow we're going to try to get to Mildura (about another 1000km) & then have an easy (!) 800km run to home on Friday.

I'm not sure where Colin (COLT) is as he left Perth later than us. I hope all is going well.

Cheers,

Graham, Kathy & Maddy

It's certainly our intention to attend the Tassie nat's.
We'll probably start planning about this time next year.

Cheers,
Graham
