1  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Re: Death pays a social call on: June 11, 2023, 08:50:16 AM
Hi Kevin,
I hope you and Margaret are in reasonable health.

What a great setup you have in this display, I only wish I had the space for it, because I would be very interested, but I definitely do not have the room.

However, some of the items you have in the display cabinets I would be interested in if you are selling them separately?

If you get the chance, flick me an email gpryce@hn.ozemail.com.au

Take care mate, and give my regards to Margaret

Vern, not actually sure what rivets we used.

Dad used to work for an interstate trucking company and found some rivets in their workshop that were all but identical to the originals. I'm talking about 20 years ago...…..

Cheers, Graham

I use rivets, so it's more original

Hi Harv,
When do you want some money? If you need it now, let me know your bank details and I'll do a transfer. I ordered 6 gaskets.

Thanks,
Graham

8  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: FC Holden Rear Indicators on: May 22, 2018, 06:23:18 AM
In 23 years of driving my FC's I've never had a near miss because of the red indicators.

It's one of the great things that sets our cars apart from the everyday humdrum in my opinion.

I'm with RET here "you'll take my flashing brake lights from my cold, dead fingers".
This is the way Holden designed them and you can't improve on perfection.

Just my 2 bobs worth.

Cheers, Graham

10  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Thursday Night "G Spot" cruise for dinner on: March 20, 2018, 06:45:36 AM
Hi All,
I posted this information recently on the Nationals Facebook page

https://www.facebook.com/groups/267901813559871/?ref=bookmarks

If you're on Facebook but not on the Nat's page, then please ask to be added. If you're not on Facebook then I have included this information below. I will also be emailing all the entrants with this information........

I expect that there will be quite a few entrants that arrive early for the Nationals.
If you’re in town on Thursday (29th March) and you’re looking for somewhere to go for dinner, a few of us will be cruising to the G Spot for dinner. The G Spot is a food caravan where a lot of the car clubs hang out. They have a great variety of food such as chips, hot dogs, burgers, ribs, etc.
We’ll probably cruise from Alivio at about 5.30 or 6pm on Thursday evening. Please note that the "G Spot" is cashless, so you'll need to use your eftpos card to pay for any purchases. https://www.facebook.com/TheGspotCanberra/

We need an idea of how many are attending, so please either reply to this post, reply to the post on facebook, or reply to the email I send out (if you haven't already done so).

Looking forward to seeing lots of old friends and making some new ones.

Cheers,
Graham Pryce (Nationals Event Director)

Please drive safely and we'll see you all soon.

Don't forget you can also post updates of your trip on the Nat's facebook page

Are we there yet?

Cheers,
Graham

16  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Entries closed! on: January 31, 2018, 06:24:44 AM
Well, as you can imagine we’ve had a flurry of Nationals entries in the lead up to the closing date last week.
Once the committee gets through them all, we expect to be sending out receipts in the next week or so ( for those that don’t already have a receipt).
It looks like there’s just over 100 cars entered.
We’ve got a very busy time ahead of us, we need to place our merchandise orders , to make sure we have everything before Easter.
We will be posting regular updates here as and when we get relevant information, so keep an eye out.
Can’t wait to see you all at the 17th FE-FC Holden Nationals
17  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Re: 9 Days! on: January 18, 2018, 06:33:18 AM
