I was recently informed that Graeme - JOX515 as per the forum - passed away earlier this year.

As such, I wanted to inform forum members of his passing. Graeme was a good guy always up for a chat.

Hope you’re doing okay and have other hobbies lined up.

P.S. I’m still flirting with the kangaroo leather interior idea.

Hi Graeme and thanks for your response.

I don’t do Facebook [anymore]. Is this Scott aka collecta?

I regret selling my FC interior trim years ago and want to put it back together.

Happy to buy yours but don’t want you to be in the same predicament as me!

- Josh

9  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / FC interior arm rests wanted on: February 29, 2020, 05:59:54 PM
Hi all,

I’d like to buy a pair of FC arm rests for the front doors.

Condition doesn’t matter too much as they’ll be recovered at some point.

Posting to Tas/Hobart.

Thank you,

Josh

Is it a local car?
11  For Sale and Wanted / Other Stuff Wanted / Early Red 202 Block Wanted on: September 15, 2019, 10:32:38 PM
Hi all,

I'm looking for an early red 202 block; pre-pollution.

Ideally I'd prefer the block to be located in Southern Tasmania, but beggars can't be choosers.

Thanks,

Are you going to add another 2 cylinders/1.2 litres, Graeme  Huh

Surely no caps are better than those Supercheap specials.

Will you keep the painted bumpers?

Great purchase btw  Cool
15  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: New project on: January 02, 2019, 08:05:15 PM
Welcome Corey,

Think about the Subaru H6 boxer engine too mate -  they go hard and sound silky smooth. 6 speed manual too  Cool

Years ago in Street Machine I read about a 4 cylinder conversion from a Datsun 200B into an FC; I think the theory was they had similar HP outputs but the Datto engine was more economical; sadly something that we need to consider these days.

You'll get heaps of input from members on here who have done the 304 V8 thing (NES, Craig, Pete to name a few).

There's some quirky stuff too; a 2J project on here which looks awesome, and Ben (GrandmasterB on here) is doing a 1UZ V8 which will be great (if I were to do it again I'd follow a similar path). Pete on here (who has a 304 FC ute) is also doing an RB26DETT Nissan GTR powered FC Holden which is smooth as silk.

17  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Depth of Marty Dean stainless fuel tank? on: January 13, 2018, 07:36:34 PM
Thanks - I'll give Marty a call on Monday.

I was initially thinking about an Aeromotive phantom system, but EFI Hardware in Victoria do an in-tank conversion which utilises a Commodore pump and is much cheaper.

Regards,

Josh.

Hi all,

Does anyone know the depth of a Marty Dean stainless fuel tank? I’d like to know so I can buy an drop-in, in-tank fuel pump.

Regards,

Josh

20  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Rear mount sump wanted suit 202 on: October 12, 2017, 10:02:54 PM
Hi all,

As per the post, I'm wanting to buy a red/blue motor rear mounted sump;EH to Torana to HZ.

I'm running a HR front end with Torana rack and I'm want to build a deeper oil pan to suit circuit racing.

I'm based in Alice Springs but postage isn't a problem.

Regards,

Josh.
