Skuta,

We met up with Kye 2 weeks ago in Armidale..  A group of us rode up from Sydney while him and another mate rode down from Brissy. Top weekend, great roads and good company and set to become and annual run.. set aside the 2nd weekend in September!

JWM, good to see you're ok...The ST would get along quite Ok too.

Nice Monkey bikes  Smiley

If you're into the little Zeddys, I've got a mate Kye who you might know or have crossed paths with in Brisbane who is fairly active in the Z scene.

I've got a Triumph Tiger 1050, and KTM400 for my 2 wheeled antics.

Thought it was your old wagon Fatboy.

Gday Gaz,

The front end is bolted in with plates in the chassis rail and brackets to the 2 front outriggers.

Project has slowed down somewhat due to moving and having to work on another project (datsun 1200) to fix up some accident damage.

I am partway through constructing the middle X member now in 2 RHS layers and working out the best layout for the rear airbags and fuel tank mount.

still working toward getting it off the jig by Christmas.

Cheers

Hello,

What's the sump shape like?  ie a bowl at the rear?

also does that price quoted include everything needed for conversion  or just engine, trans, ECU, wiring?

Great work Pete,

I like the column mount.

Looks like a datsun 1200 / Stanza booster?

On the subject of boosters...

how can you tell a double diaphragm booster from a single..  physical size?

I'm leaning toward using an OEM booster versus a cheap ebay one, as I read the ebay ones are not rebuildable..  is there truth to this?

Pete I think Datsport sells the 200B boosters. I've got a 1200 booster at home and they are tiny little things, I think they are similar to the 200B. Would that provide enough boost?

Deano,

I'm impressed by your "bush chemistry"... Please don't take the term as an insult, rather with respect.

You've made up some great pH neutral stripper and cleaners from everyday household items... I think you've missed your calling as an industrial chemist!

thanks for sharing that info.. I'm enjoying it  Smiley Smiley

Just yesterday I was enquiring about a parts cleaner which uses "safe" solvents.. looks like the best stuff is just under our noses.  I really like how you use natural food acids.

Cheers
