My wife really likes FB's & EK's, so I spent the last 12 months or so working on this.   Hope the picks are here.

45  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Re: Driving from Sydney to Surfers on: August 11, 2015, 09:23:17 PM
Yep 10 hrs would do it easy. Byron is only a bit over an hour from Surfers. So a stop at Coffs would be about 6 to 6 1/2 hrs from Sydney. Plenty of places to stay at Coffs, and some nice places to eat down on the jetty. If you wanted to get of the hi way a bit and have a look around give me a yell, always welcome in Casino.   Dave

Have a look at KBS coatings website Graham. They do similar stuff to POR15 and a bit cheaper. Dave

That's a shame about the chrome Pete, as I said Vinnies did the bumpers on my HK wagon and they did a good job, I just got some stainless done for my EK by Carl Mills in Lismore, and he did a great job. He put some pictures on his facebook site of them.  Dave
50  General / General Board / Re: 14" White Line/Stripe Tyres on: April 17, 2015, 09:22:05 PM
I got some 185/70/14, for my HK wagon, without going out to the shed, I'm sure they are Sumitomo brand. I think they were about $110 each. I got them from my local tyre shop, but they are on Ebay for the same money. they are soft in the wall so not a performance tyre by any means, but offer a nice ride and seem to be wearing well.  Dave

Yeah that's right Hayden, the cable unlocks it but doesn't pop the bonnet up, you have to do that with the latch under the bonnet.   Dave

Yes     The blinds are nice, just make sure you check for any damage before you sign for it (take it out of the box) cause they won't take any responsibility for damage after you sign for it, (fair enough too). And they are quite easily damaged. Dave

I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with the chrome from Vinney's Pete, the bumpers on my HK wagon were done there.  Very nice job.   Dave
