Front and rear are not the same.
The pin behind the button is a different length.

Interesting that they both have the same part number, but one has the PTY. arrowed in as it was left out in the first one.

FC 2104 option vans : 10,385 assembled at Woodville,
FC 2104 option vans : 5 in knocked down form to Indonesia.

66  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Bi metal spring on: July 04, 2018, 09:25:10 AM
Hi all,
I am after an exhaust manifold Bi metal spring for my FE wagon grey motor.
I moved the car to get ready for a cruise and found the old spring on the ground with the locating tab rusted off.
I would like one for a reasonable price, not looking for NOS, just a usable one for the cold weather.

Hi Graham,
My FE wagon tailgate lock can be temperamental at times as well. I am still able to jiggle a bit and also helps to push the key in and out while turning.
I think the only other course of action is a locksmith to fine tune either the key or the lock.

It is not that bad Rod. The material is still the same. It is only a matter of the trimmer having the template to do it. Glenn aka Stinky has the template and has done a few off these now. Send him a personal message for more information.

Hi Alan,
I did see your dilemma on facebook.
I was going to reply but have not got around to it.
Do you have the Trax model with Terraglow on it ?
There was a guy on here that painted his full size FC sedan a colour that was matched off a trax model FC sedan.
I would put out the story on the Trax facebook page for someone closer by you that has one that will let you borrow it to have the paint matched off it.
I would gladly let you borrow mine but I am in Adelaide.
If you don't get any luck let me know and I can post it up to you.

The bottom pic of the van could easily have been the SA police FE van. Has both side windows cut in.  Cool
