Hi Laszlo,
If you search "boot lock" you will find a few pages.
Lady with small hands is a good option if available.
After 2 hours of frustration.
I used a short piece of timber 200mm long, 42mm x 12mm with a hand saw cut across the width to take the flange on the lock retainer.
A bit of Blu tack or masking tape to loosely hold it on, and then push into position.
Worked like a charm.

Hope this helps

It is such a nice touch.
You have to love an FE bonnet emblem.

In an FE the parking lights are in the headlight built into the loom. Did you mean the indicators.?

Hi Darren,
I am fairly sure Robin's wagon is "Turquoise" over "Sarasota White"
Clay, I spent all day at this years all Holden day, but without Fergus and FranCine.
Life has gotten in the way as it does, and both need a bit of brake work to get them back on the road again.
Might not be until the weather gets a bit better, and Coffee and Chrome resumes at the racecourse.
Restoration is going to be a bit further down the track, but hope to put the original grey motor back in later this year.

No worries Darren, thanks for the reply.
FE wagons are fairly rare as Holdens only made just over 7 thousand of them.
I went for the grandpa spec on mine.

If you are following that picture it will look like Robins FE wagon. Smiley

Look forward to seeing progress pictures.

My FE wagon still has the original rubber strip, and I am not game to pull it out just yet.

Mine also has another rubber strip glued to the top inside of the bottom tailgate.
Darren are you going to use the stainless strip on the top of the bottom tailgate?
I would be very interested in buying it.
