Thanks Neil, I purchased all the correct gauge & coloured wires a while back, so am just going to use that up since I've got them.

It's mainly come about because I put in a battery that had reversed polarity [don't ask] and smoked the main feeder from the ignition to the alt, which took a few other wires with it. Plus it's a birds nest and needs some cleaning up anyway  Sad

Bit of dust from the 2 years....

First task, complete re-wire and fix up any rust that appears during the clean up, without going looking for it.

Where'd that 2 years go!!!  Shocked Shocked

Finally cleaned out the shed, and am now starting to work on the van with a view of getting it back on the road by Christmas, suffice to say this isn't a major rebuild but just quickly getting it driving again before performing upgrades on weekends & holidays.

Nice Sunday morning to all,

Was hoping someone on here could help in myself and a front FC windscreen cowl coming together  Shocked  Shocked

I need both corners, not necessarily the centre. Thought I'd try to locate one before venturing into fabricating what I need. Happy for a cut off a non-salvageable vehicle as well.

Appreciate any assistance.

Cheers

Moon,

I'm in the same boat, and am about to send my engineer a wish list to see what I can get "approved in principle".

I have read the same VSB14 and have noted - For certification purposes under Codes LA1, LA2, LA3 and LA4, the recommended maximum capacity (swept volume) of engines for passenger cars and passenger car derivatives is outlined in Table LA1 below.

I want to run a LS1 in my van, so I'm hoping to utilise the next paragraph in getting my engineer to pass it - Table LA1 does not apply to commercial (ADR Category NA and NB1) or four wheel drive off-road (ADR category MC) type vehicles such as commercial vans, light trucks, small buses, etc. for which there are no set recommended limitsGrin Grin

Keep us informed with how you go.

Cheers
Marc

Welcome aboard Rocket,

Google is always good for viewing how things should, and shouldn't be done.

But I've found this forum to be the best source of knowledge, inspiration and assistance you could ever ask for.

Cheers
