Pete Keep in mind that the logo you are looking at is the Tassie script and the script they used on the show vans for the Melbourne market where this van was made was different !! PM me if you want, otherwise have fun! Brett

As usual Ken has come up with a totally plausible and rational answer to what I always thought was the original owners home made key ID !! Anyway the car I have owned 20 years and I bought it off the original owners son. Robert Sholes was the original owner who owned a mechanics in South Melbourne, he loved the vehicle and whilst his health was in decline with dementia etc always remembered to ask about the car and insisted the Rego be paid and the car monthly started. Robert died aged 92 in 1994. I bought the car totally off a random look in the Wednesday age Motor market section. I cant get photo bucket too work so Alex may have some more recent photos from the Tassie nationals? Thanks Brett

Hi Ken Bruce had that wagon at the Mildura nationals in 1996. I t was not entered but he drove it up and stayed in the room next to us with John Wanner and his mob. It was a bit tired but I remember the motor running very sweet and quite, no tappet or gudgeon noise at all. Brett
