1  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Re: Couple of Cars for Sale in Ireland FE sedan and FC ute on: June 14, 2021, 08:59:16 AM
So, yeah, they are for sale as such. I bought them back to Perth, got everything fixed up, over pits and road legal and registered. Just sold the FE to a lovely lady in Rockingham last week and the FC ute will probably have to be sold due to use selling house soon and downsizing. Cheers.

Still for sale sort of, I'm back here now, they are still there, garaged and doing fine when I checked them in July. Must bring them over at some point but life gets in the way.

White ills still looks pretty rural and the farm may have survived. Put these into Google -41.5044,147.2522 and have a look. Maybe do a streetview drive by and you might catch a name. Farmers tend to keep the farm names so it may be still names thus. Another option is land titles office and tracing ownership that way. Possible family links here, farming family, lots of kids: http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/24883603 might be his mother or grandam? Lots of ways if you have the time and patience.

Place a small tariff on all car imports (3 to 5%) and use this to fund the 3 car manufacturers here. Cost the people nothing but a slight increase of a few hundred bucks if they buy a new car.

Not really for anyone over in Oz but I thought you might be interested to see them. Its a bit of a shot in the dark as I don't expect them to sell in the week I am putting them up for but you never know....

I managed to make one night in Perth and couldn't have been looked after better by everyone there especially the WA club. Was great to meet so many of you and with a bit of luck I may even get to Tassie....

Good luck to all those driving back across the Nullabor here's hoping you break a tailshaft - or whatever the equivalent of break a leg is!!

Paul.

17  General / FE-FC Holden Nationals / Who is going to play the longest golf course on the way to Perth? on: March 31, 2012, 01:04:52 AM
I always told myself if I ever drove across that way I'd take the time and play the course. 18 holes and 1365 kms long:
