1  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Genuine FE Holden wheel in VGC on: March 30, 2009, 08:38:29 AM
Hi there,

I recently acquired a genuine FE Holden rim (ie rivetted centre and the larger valve stem hole).  The wheel still has a tyre on it and is holding air, the rim hasn't got any damage to the edge, just needs painting (flaking).  Happy to post this with the tyre removed, or pickup from Wodonga VIC.  Phone 0418451665 or reply here.  Happy to listen to an offer on this hard to find item!

Regards

Peter

3  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / For Sale: Set of 4 13x7 Chevoit Hotwires in Northeast Vic on: March 06, 2009, 08:57:52 PM
On offer is a set of 4 Chevoit alloy hotwires with two tyres with legal tread but could be a little perished with age for road use.  The wheels are in good condition but have been stored many years.  Were last fitted to a Torana.  Happy to assist with freight, with tyres removed they could be posted in two boxes.  There are no nuts and only one centre cap.  Asking $175 for the lot.  Please call 0418451665, pm me or reply here.  Items are located in Wodonga.  Pics available on request.

Cheers

8  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / FB EK speedo head and fuel gauge on: February 05, 2009, 12:19:22 PM
I've tried the FB EK forum with no luck, so here goes!  Does anyone have a disc style speedo head to suit an FB EK (can swap for a FE FC needle style one), and a fuel gauge to suit the FB EK dash, I think FB to EH ones all fit?  Happy to pay postage as I'm in Wodonga VIC.  Please pm me or call 0418451665 if you can help.

Thanks

10  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / FS: 1 HK steel rim on: January 30, 2009, 11:48:27 AM
Hi all,

I have a HK steel rim that may be useful to someone for a 14 inch wheel conversion or need to make up a spare.  It has had some flaking rust issues but I have given it a good wire brush and painted it, the tyre joint reckons it's still solid enough but would recommend running a tube (it's highly recommended anyway they say in older rims like this one).  Postage is possible, as for price $15 + postage will get it.  I have a pic available too if you want to have a look.  Phone 0418451665 or reply here

Cheers

13  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / FS: Repco grey motor engine stand in Vic on: January 09, 2009, 03:17:02 PM
Hi all,

I have an engine stand that was used by Repco to mount reconditioned grey motors on in the workshop prior to shipping them out.  It would be a very handy item if you want to free up your engine stand but don't want to sit the engine on its sump.  It bolts to the two front engine mount holes and to the lower gearbox mounts on the back.  Can supply a pic if interested, just pm me or call 0418451665.  I'll need to weigh it, but if under 20kg I can post it, or freighting is fine too.  Pickup is welcome too if you're near Albury/Wodonga.  As for price happy to listen to an offer.

Still cleaning out the shed, I have a crankshaft, conrods/pistons, flywheel, thermotat housing, timing cover and backing plate, water pump (good for parts only), fuel pump (EK and later type) and a dent free sump left .

Happy to listen to offers and all of these items can be posted.  Located in Wodonga VIC and pickup is welcomed too if you're local.

Cheers

That was me who listed (and have relisted) that engine, thanks for the tips, I was 99% sure it was something like an industrial engine, but I was also advised through another forum that it may be a NASCO replacement block also.  It has never been grey, the paint is originally green.

Anyway thanks again!

Yes they made column shift T400, I had a 308 T400 HZ Premier wagon with a factory bench seat and column shift, was a good combo actually!!

19  General / General Board / Re: Station Sedan or Station Wagon? on: September 19, 2008, 03:54:05 PM
No basis to this whatsoever, but IMHO I would hazard a guess to say the EJ as before this they had 'Station Sedan' badgework, from the EJ on they didn't.
