Gday all.   I know this has been asked before, but I am a bit dumb.  As I want to leave my FE rear lights original, I am wanting to wire my towbar by running new wires from under the dash back to the socket.   I have a 5 core trailer wire.   I have a coloured wiring diagram which I have been studying  and am a bit confused as to where they all get connected. Do I connect the indicator wires to the purple and pink wires coming out of the steering column. ?   Do I connect the park light wire to the white wire from the light switch.   Do I connect the brake light wire to the stop lamp switch outlet before the junction of the purple and pink wires, but wouldn't that still pick up the intermittent indicator signal?  As I said I am a bit dumb with these things, (and lots of others).   Any clues.  thanks in anticipation, Mike.

Thanks Laszlo.   I think you must mean 15cm for the front bolt.??  I thought from memory of the ones that were lost by the platers  it was about 4 inches - 10cm long, to go through the panel in front of the bonnet catch spring/bolt.  I have bought some stainless 1/4inch bolts but still working on marking out where to drill the holes.   I have the plan from on here, just measuring a few times before taking the plunge and drilling.  cheers, Mike.

13  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: Fuel Pump Service Kit for 6 cyl red motor on: February 18, 2016, 09:18:17 AM
Keith, I bought one of his grey motor kits for my vacuum pump but the rubber seal that goes on the diaphragm shaft is the wrong size.   The local guy at Express Engineering in Toowoomba has some NOS Goss kits for grey motors.   Had to buy another full kit off him to get the right seal.  Mike
