61  For Sale and Wanted / Cars Wanted / FC Special sedan WANTED on: February 20, 2007, 11:14:44 AM
Hi all, just working out some final financial details & will be all set to chase down the FC for me.
I would like something preferably modified, such as red motor, disc brakes etc. but if something nice & original turned up, that's fine too. Just so long as it is STRAIGHT, NO RUST ( or extremely very little), and turn key & drive away. Oh, & a sedan too by the way!
Not asking for much am I?  Tongue
If anyone would like to contact me, please PM me here with details of vehicle such as pics, phone numbers, email addresses etc.
I am in the Wimmera in country Vic.
Anyway, hope someone out there can help me,
Cheers,
Moon  Wink

63  For Sale and Wanted / Other Stuff For Sale / Re: Wrecking - FB Wagon on: January 08, 2007, 12:04:25 PM
Hi there, just wondering if you still have the FB wagon & what sort of nick the inner sills are in? I have to replace both sides in my FC right from the front where the outer subframe legs bolt to the sills as they are non existent, so if i could get the entire length of it all in one cut & in good or repairable condition, it will save me a lot of hassles.
Cheers,
Moon.
64  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / front of sills/subframe mount on: January 08, 2007, 07:33:18 AM
Hi all, I'm fixing up an FC special sedan & unfortuneately both of the front of the sills where the outer subframe legs bolt to, are non existent  Cry. I am hoping someone out there might have the entire sill sections ( say from a FE, FC or FB, EK ) from front to rear. I don't care about the outer sill, so long as the inner sill is in good nick.
If anyone has looked at Streetneat's site on his FC ute, & EK Van,  (it's the same trouble as I will have with the sills ) you will see the front sections he reconditioned from a donor vehicle then put into his. I would settle for just those sections if no entire inner part was available.
Anyway, hope someone can help me,
Cheers,
Moon.
65  Technical Board / Modification Help / rear wheel arches, lower quarters on: July 26, 2006, 10:18:03 AM
just wanting to know if the rear wheel arches on an FC ute are the same as a sedan?
The lower half of my driverside quarter panel from rear indicator across to the wheel arch is a bit sad, & I have the entire section from an old ute, that i was hoping to be able to graph onto the sedan.
All help & ideas most welcome,
Cheers.
Moon.

75  Technical Board / Restoration Help / engine decoding help needed on: January 29, 2006, 09:27:32 AM
I have 2 grey motors that have me stumped as to what the hell they came out of.  Embarrassed
The first one which is out of my fc ute has two lots of numbers stamped on it, one above the other.
Top number reads;
10937 & 0 or 6,  (I just can't make out last number) Huh
plus there is no letter before that number. I thought it might be out of an FX or FJ since there was no letter in front of it, but then what is the other number for?
The other number under it reads;
N651859P

The other engine has;
V66178P stamped on it.
Does anyone know what they are out of & can explain the reason for any of these numbers? Help with this would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers,
Moon.  Smiley

why not."  Wink Grin
Hey Ed, as to why? I didn't say I was going to do it ( just yet anyway! ) I was just wanting to find out if it was possible.
Anyway, thanks again guys!  Smiley
77  Technical Board / Modification Help / fe/fc ute into van question on: January 18, 2006, 12:54:20 PM
Hi all, just wanting to know if it is at all possible to turn a fe/fc ute into a van, if you had a van top rear section?
If so, does anyone know of some pics I could get a hold of to check out, or talk to someone who has done it?
78  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Re: fe special sedan wrecking on: January 18, 2006, 12:39:24 PM
Hi Mick, just wondering if you would happen to have some complete indicators from off the guards on the old beast. If so, how much? I would be interested in 'em.
let me know, cheers!
