For Sale and Wanted / Cars Wanted / Re: FE/FC sedan shell wanted

Sorry if I seem impatient Ken, I think I am just ( probably a little to much ) EAGER to start what I want to do. Also, I must say I probably didn't word my inital "shell wanted" request clear enough. I realise these parts are like you said "first area to start rusting", but so long as I can find something that still has these parts, even if they are rusted, so long as there is enough there that I can work with to fix. I am not having a go at you Ken by any means, & thank ya for bringing ya thoughts to my attention! Cheers all, Moon. P.S. Still waiting for a shell.

Hi all. Am after a sedan shell for a project. Dont care if rust in floors or sills, so long as no rust in the inner sills/rails, & minimal to no rust in bottom of A pillars. I am in the wimmera area, so if anyone has or knows of anything, please let me know. Cheers, Moon.

Took it apart for a third time now, to show a friend & make sure everything was where it should be. He agreed everything was right, put it back together & put it on, & stuff me, no freakin leaks . BUT......... Now I have other dramas with clutch pedal!!!!!! After bleeding the lines, my clutch pedal is so freakin HARD & HEAVY to push down, it's ridiculous! Anyone got any ideas as to what's happening now? I considered getting a totaly new reco master cylinder to put on but don't want to realy do it incase it doe's the same thing. I hope someone out there can shine some light on this one for me. Cheers, Moon.

Technical Board / Restoration Help / Clutch master cylinder troubles
|
on: April 20, 2007, 11:50:21 PM
|
I had to replace the clutch slave cylinder on my fc sedan, so I figured I might as well put a kit through the master cylinder (original) while I was at it. but when I got it all back together & put on, it started leaking on the inside of the cabin . I thought I might have put something in backwards, so I dissasembled it all again & checked, but everythings ok. Put it back on, & same again . Anyone got any suggestions? Cheers, Moon.

Well, here she is, my new baby. It's pretty much standard except for electric windscreen wipers (wich I have installed), 12 volt, gearshift knob, front FE number plate surround & stereo. It has standard wheels with dress rims now too, these pictures were taken by the guy who sold it, & he kept those rims in pics. I checked numbers out but I am a little confused :-/ by the paint & rpo numbers, so I'll put them up. BODY No: 225-7074-S TRIM: 272-633 PAINT: 256-2031 RPO 253-2047 SUBFRAME: 8-13715-S ENGINE: L363406 I think engine might be out of an FE, not sure though. Just got to give her a few touchups here & there, then can CRUUUUUUISE!!!!! I will post some shots of the interior later on as my camera has decided to pack it in. Cheers all, Moon.
