Well well well..... Where do I start.

My last real update was 2016, pretty slack really. The study has been killing me but have run off with other quite expensive hobbies. One of which is my WIFE Wink

Seriously though it's too freaking cold in Victoria for me to do anything except beg to get a posting out of here. Having said that Victoria is beautiful and my lovely  Roll Eyes wife has forced me into buying a caravan ( no money for FC  Cry )

My new hobbies -
Kiteboarding is one hobby I have started, each kite is over a grand and I have three. Don't start me on boards wetsuits etc. Then theres travel and wind etc etc.
Drones- 2 grand per done and I went and got my drone Remote Pilot Licence too. Training for that alone is usually 3 grand, FLIR camera - 2 grand MONEY MONEY MONEY.

What I have also is a pain in the arse 16 year old daughter that has become very demanding for some unfortunate reasons.

I have started working on the car again after some inspiration from a couple of locals here and will start taking some photos.

I am doing an Aviation Safety course in Canberra that just so happens to finish the day before good Friday!!!!!!!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin
So finally I am able to go to the FE FC Nationals and I am totally pumped about  Grin

I guess more what i am asking it those out there running Commodore brakes, What wheels and tyres are you running Offset and width?
and is there anyone running a low car with Commodore Disks.
I have the commodore drop axles now so i have to make it work.
I know Ness Pedro and some others have similar setups but is is hard to find all the details.......
Hey Whealey! My 304 is heavy but only have heavy duty standard height HR springs with 16” rims (205/50/R16) and have no dramas full lock until the caliper touches (which is max turn almost anyway). Can’t remember the offset but they’re not exactly deep dish.

Been offered a swap for an EJ sedan which needs floor pans, a clutch and master cylinder and a good clean up.....  Been sitting in a shipping container for 18 odd years.

Decisions, decisions....
I’ll have the VB!

Is it possible that multi colour specials may have lasted longer because they are more easily identifiable? Therefore skewing the data slightly (even though your been at it for years?). I'd like to think the difference may be not be that from reality

Hahaha ok I'll bite.

Because my radiator is so dam wide I have had to make some mounting brackets that suit when the bumper bar 'arms' are mounted on the opposite side.

Bit of 5mm should do the trick.

Colour would be terracotta. Nice looking car.  What are the plans?

Ken

I'm pretty sure other than central passengers all corners of the car need inertia reels

You cannot legally use belts from another car.

I used buckles from HK broughm and had them refurbished and brand new webbing/belt with Australian standards sewn into them.
