1  Technical Board / General Technical / diff u bolt sizes on: March 10, 2005, 03:50:11 AM
hey people,

am just after sizes for diff yoke U-bolts to hold a Uni in place.

i'm not 100% sure on what yoke the diff has in it.
it's a 9" but i believe its got a Holden yoke on it.

thread size seems to be 1/4" and the actual U-bolt will need to be roughly 1 3/8" (i actually got 34mm) wide.

anybody know if what those figures match up to?
and where i can get me a couple?

ta.
Aaron.

yep, it is out of the car.

and even if we did put it on the car...it still has no engine or anything so wouldn't be very heavy..

hmm..  Huh
4  General / General Board / getting springs in a HR front-end? on: September 18, 2003, 09:34:32 AM
hi everyone,
i'm new here. i know it isn't a FE-FC question, but this seems like that best place to ask on the Net as the forum looks quite large.  Smiley

i'm just wondering how do you go about putting springs back in a HR front-end that has been pulled to bits...i'm trying to get it back together but am not sure how to get the springs in.

we tried one spring compressor but it didn't fit.  Sad

any ideas..??

thanks,
Aaron.
