FC Special Sedan for Sale.

I posted this car for sale last year, but got the run around from a bloke who wanted to buy it and so I took it off the market.

40,000 verifiable original miles on the clock, this car runs like a dream.
Registered till end of April 2005, RWC shouldn't be a problem.

Asking price is $3250 O.N.O

Car is situated in Ashwood (near Chadstone) in Melbourne.

After being royally fecked around this weekend, I am taking the FC off the market. I've decided to put her in storage while I am O/S and will do her up when I return.
I'll never get another one with 40,000 original miles on the clock.
Thanks to all who contacted me with genuine enquiries.
NO thanks to the time wasters out there!

Folks, Don't ever believe a guy when he says "consider it sold"
Steve went cold on me big time and the FC is still for sale. Public apology to Leigh whom I put off thinking Steve was a genuine buyer.
As is for $3000, 40,000 verifiable original miles on the clock, reg expires on the 20th April. Very close to roadworthy.

I've finally uploaded pics on my website:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/nicole66/FC.htm

This car has only 40,000 miles on the clock. I can verify that this is first time round as I have full service history for the car going right back to 1958!

FC Special Sedan,
Mechanically A1, new exhaust, tyres, windscreen, brakes, engine purrs like a kitten.
Extremely reliable - has never broken down on me and always starts first pop.
Red and white exterior, doors need re-skinning otherwise rust free and needs new paint job.
Red and black interior in excellent condition.
All original, original plates also available. Currently registered till April 2004, QUL 818.
$3000 , price is of course negotiable
Can email recent pics
This is a great car which I am reluctantly selling to go O/S.  Cry

8  Technical Board / Restoration Help / FC Doors on: June 07, 2003, 06:21:39 AM
Please help.
I have a beautiful FC Special (red and white) in desparate need of repair. The main problem is the body, especially the doors. The sills have rusted out badly. Am I better off replacing the doors or should I get the doors re-skinned? What would the comparitive costs be?
:)This is the only bad rust fortunately. Mechanically she goes great, but the body is very tired. Once I get the doors done, then it will be time for a new paint job. Being a girl , every spray-painter I get quotes from just see dollar signs as soon as I walk in. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable & reasonable spaypainter in the Melbourne area and also what to do about my doors!
Much thanks.
