I would be interested in your findings. I'm not quite at the stage of geeting the rechroming started but I'm also not that far away. I have a shop in Queanbeyan (about an hour away) that has a good reputation but I believe is also on the pricey side. I know the old addage, buy once cry once, but if I can save a $ or two and get a good result I'm all over it.

On my Fc ute I want to rechroming the grill and the indicator surrounding.  They are in good condition no dent , no stretch just need a new chrome finish.  I had one quote from Costume Chrome Plating (Gold Coast) for $2000. I never used them before . Anybody had an experience with them? I used to use Gold Coast Electroplating for my Fe.
What do you think about the price ? For me sounds a bit high.

I did solve the problem. So the "eagle" ready to fly.....
I had machine an adapter to suit the billet steering wheel.
Come out nice....

Errol, I prefer the real trim. But I don't mind this dual cab Fc in my garage
