For those of you that guessed what we were doing, well done.
Finally arrived at our Home Stay Accommodation. Yep our place. We have been camping for 3 nights, moving around the back yard to get us in the spirit. This would have been our 5th Nationals (ten years) and we don’t want to miss a great weekend. (and our honeymoon)
We are having our own Nats at home. YOU CAN ALL PLAY ALONG, go to Facebook FE-FC Holden Enthusiast page
Starting with our usual catch up tonight. Yep those that know us, its Port and Tim Tams around someone’s camp. Its going to be our Camp tonight. We will post pics. Anyone that wants to join in please do. Put Videos and pictures up all weekend. All of you that do other things please put up what you usually do.
Follow the usual Nats set up.
Tonight, All those that arrive early. Hamburgers somewhere in town. Then Drinks all night. Some of us till wee hours in the morning. Friday Cruise somewhere, followed by lunch. Go home sleep, recover from last night. Then meet and greet with our favourite Fish and Chips Saturday Another cruise to the show and shine. Dinner somewhere nice. Sunday Big cruise followed by the Games day. QUEENSLANDER Presentation dinner and dress ups. Monday Car racing Pyjama party to say goodbye for another 2 years. Tuesday Reluctantly head home.
Because we are all in lockdown, most of this needs to be in your back yard. Because we usually spend quiet a bit of money on our holidays, we are going to get take away a few times to help boost the economy in Townsville.
If you are keen to follow or join us for the weekend, follow us on Facebook. FE-FC Holden Enthusiast

Day 3 Last night camping. Just crossed into the North of the State. Can't wait for that Home style accommodation for the next 5 days. Found a nice roadside mound of dirt to camp beside Another FC in a paddock. Old bugger wouldn't sell any of the chrome or parts on the front floor. Enjoying our honey moon, Haven't killed each other yet. These long drives are becoming tedious. We are going to take out longest distance travelled again.

Day 1 We are finally off. Shortened our holiday plans we are speed tripping to the Nats. Not much to see or do. Only 3 ways out of Townsville heading south. We have seen it all. Big trip today, ended up free camping at a mates place for the night. Thanks Smiths Mechanical for giving the car the once over as usual Our view

I have started working on the wagon and are wondering can the subframe rust repairs (under radiator) be done with engine and everything still in car. Or is it best to remove everything? fred

This is a, How longs a piece of string question. What are people paying for paint jobs, not a summernats winning paint job just a paint job that looks good and shiny. One car is absolutely rust free the other has no panel rust only subframe (which I will do), this car may also have a bit of bog in I door and rear quarter. Fred PS. SORRY
