The HR Banjo LSD centre in the old girl isn't sounding so good under load, so I am looking at options before I start pulling things apart. Is it more cost effective to sort out the LSD or should I opt for a Trutrac?
I don't go to drags or anything like that, just the odd "spirited" acceleration from the lights etc.
The last of the Mint Green "swirly" roof lining, I was saving it for my station sedan. $450.00 Includes postage within Australia and 2 swatches large enough to do the sun visors. I can supply the sun visor covers for an additional $60, no edge binding though.
Thanks Kraka, I have one on my FE Sedan that I can copy. I was mainly fishing for more elegant DIY solutions, I've got a few responses on Facebook so far.
One of the last puzzle pieces for my panel van is to sort out the gearbox crossmember, the old one was some booger welded SHS that had a 5mm wall thickness, and was just bolted to the floor with spacers. I'd like to do a neater job but I'm reluctant to fork out $1K for a CRS chassis kit when I only really need the rails and crossmember.
Has anyone done a DIY arrangement? Any tips or tricks?
Embossed vinyl for late 1959 FC Holden Special Sedan/Station Sedan seat tops. Standard Daleys black. 6 available, $100 each plus postage with signature.
Of all of the FE/FC front bench seats that I have recovered the backrests have always had side openings with sleeves that are held together with an internal zig-zag wire and hog rings, this is then covered with the plastic trims.
I currently have an FE Standard seat in my workshop that has no side openings and no side plastic, is this factory standard or am I looking at a very old custom seat re-trim?
