For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / FE V8 Wagon for sale.

I have an FE 5 litre V8 wagon for sale. It was built by Ed Ho and I have owned it since 2008 when it was in the top 10 at the Mt Gambier Nationals. It is set up with a 4 speed auto, Rod Hadfield chassis kit, modified Ford 9 inch diff, HR disc brake front end, frenched headlights, and is painted in Etna Maroon and White. Currently on Club rego in South Australia and registered with the V8.
Asking for offers over $15k. There have been some mods done by a fire in the back of the engine bay, roof lining and dash area. Motor can still be turned by hand. Still a good platform for someone to do it their way.
Can’t seem to get the photos to work here though. Text me and I will send them.
Thanks

Hi Laura, Here is a photo of the FE Wagon. I bought the FE wagon several years ago from a car dealer in Ballarat. As Ken has said it is not for sale as it is a prized part of my collection of 21 FE and FC Holdens. Click on the image to enlarge it.

Sadly mine are not producing yet due to a delay of several weeks to get a meter but should be done this Tuesday. We did test it for around half an hour and got nearly 5kWh's but it was all adding on to my meter so it is off.
I was just reading an discusion about cooling your panels on hot days to increase output. They were getting 10-30% increases by running or sprinkling water over the panels during the hottest hours.

I had a look at the car last weekend and collected the numbers:
ID FC225-16125-A TRIM 300-847 RIFF RED & BLACK PAINT 256-7770 INDIA IVORY INSERT 253-6258 BLACK
ENGINE 603630 CHASSIS FC15973-A
There has been a lot of work put into this car and it is close to completion. It is actually a September 59 from the engine number but has now been painted as a 58 which I think looks good. The underside has been stripped and painted as has the engine bay. There are just a couple of pieces that need to be painted and some of the interior has not been repainted. As Lawrie says most of the hard work has been done just a few bits to tidy up.
