No I don't know the Furleys Deano. I grew up in West Ulverstone. All the best with the restos. You'll have both of yours finished before I even get started.

From one tasmanian from ulvy yo another. Good luck. Yours looks like my Fe. I'm also doing a fc taxi. You can see my Adelaide taxi and breton blue Fe in the build pages. Looks like you can get stuck into it now. Happy stripping. Make sure you get a wonder remover soon.
Deano, I grew up in Ulverstone as well. Just up the road in Penguin now. Left high school in '83 - how about you?
Cheers, Ben
P.S. looking forward to seeing a start on this one Nick

It'd be fun to lower it and put fatties on it  Grin. That'd make 'em squirm a little bit.

Good score Jamie. That must have made you smile. I've posted a link of an fc with a 1/4 race cam just installed - a little lumpy but quite nice

11  Technical Board / Modification Help / FC wheel cylinders on: August 31, 2008, 09:48:54 PM
I need to replace the wheel cylinders on my FC, original brakes. I found I can purchase EH wheel cylinders considerably cheaper than FC units. Is it possible to fit the eh cylinders to fc brakes?
Thanks in advance, Ben.

Hi EHWAGON

Sorry about the slow reply, I haven't checked here for a few days. The Chev conversion kit is still available, I would freight to NSW at your expense. Get back to me if you are interested and I'll get you an estimate on the freight.

Cheers, Ben

Very nice NES. How much have you lowered the car? I think that stance looks perfect.

I could give him more beer than FCCOOL, and it would be quality Tasmanian stuff. Just let me know how many cartons he needs.

You're a machine NES. What you've achieved with this car is a real credit to you. Just goes to show what you can achieve if you work at a consistent pace. Inspires me to get started on mine. Now, about that chrome plater friend of yours, can you get him to do my chrome as well?

Appears to be made up from a mix of components - engine builder cast his own throttle bodies etc. Interesting article, not heaps of detail but covers the basics of the engine build.
