That sounds reasonable considering the work, time and products  that you would need to
  do it yourself

85  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: Ute Tailgate Skin on: March 07, 2017, 01:36:15 PM

just fitted a rare spares tailgate skin to the fc bbq ute

seemed ok, the fit was good , as long as you check fit before finishing it off

make sure the shell is square aswell

one thing l did notice when it came to the top roll of the skin ,because the corners on the utes

always got a bit of treatment when used ,the top roll of the tailgate sat higher than the corners of the ute

a little bit of adjustment needed there

86  General / General Board / Re: End of an era - Booth's Ashfield Auction - Sunday March 5 on: February 26, 2017, 03:59:58 PM

 my favourite
Fc grille badge with centre replacement   $100-$200

l think a lot more than suggested ,    maybe prices are listed as so to get people in thinking there will be a bargain
we all see these auctions get out of control

87  General / General Board / Re: Never say never! (light green FE/FC roof lining material) on: February 25, 2017, 12:23:12 PM
hi stinky

The light green swirly headlining is that the original pattern and color that came out
  in most cars
my wagon had it before l removed it a while ago can't remember if it was green or not
l know it had a swirly pattern   did it only come out in the green ?
l assume they made it a light color as not darken the interior aswell

can you put me down for one  for a station sedan

      thanks greg    (fcwagoon)

You would have to split the rubber length ways  ,place it on the bar
then super glue the rubber together again .

    easiest way l think.
