anyway back ontopic, been quite busy lately, things seem to be going pretty well, should be rolling in the next couple of days (thanks to ken mclean for welding up new outrigger on hr front end, greatly appreciated!!), then its just putting fresh motor together and fitting it.

stinky, we had this problem on our ute. we simply undone the line at the filter, and undo it before the tank, and put a air gun on it, you will hear the crap come out

no it isnt the same ute, but it was spotted in avalon. was talking to a mate the other day, and aparently the sale fell through and the guy is still stuck with it, i was going to tell you but you already found a ute, and your ute looks a little better than that one hehe

just done the trial fit of the new subframe today, and all went very well. everything fits perfect so its all back aaprt ready for rust repairs tomorrow (wahhoooo)

we have em on our fc ute, it has bosch headlights in it, i believe they will fit in all headlights that holden produced, but i am not 100% sure abbout sealed beams. in about half an hour i am going to be attempting to fit them to sealed beams, so i will let you know

when i polish alloy, i get a little piece of sandpaper, put a little polish on the paper and start polishing!!

although, after i think the piece is up to scratch i use  finishing polish, i usually use purple polish, which is quite expenisive but does a great job.

i dont really know much about the piece you are talking about but if this piece is alloy, then i would start out using say 800 (depending on how bad the marks are) then work your way up to 1200-1400. i would be using autosol right the way through doing this, as it will get the shine up. after that, a finishing polish should make it all nice and shiny, and the shine should stay a quite a bit longer...

the headlights that nicko is talking about look shtit hot! the globe in the headlight is more of a crystal, and all around it is very...well i dont know how to explain it! they are in my mates gold fc ! and they stand out like hell
