what you will need to do is :
drain the gearbox fluid
remove tailshaft
unbolt the gear linkages
unbolt rear crossmember (where the hand brake cable mounts)
unbolt the slave cylinder
unbolt the flywheel cover
put a jack with a piece of wood across it (easiest way) just to prop the motor up.
undo the rear engine mounts off the plates (so the box will then only be held up by the trolley jack)slowly let down the motor to the required height to undo bolts & remove gearbox.
then do the same, but in reverse.
somebody else will be able to tell you how much gearbox fluid to put in it
hopefully that helps :-/

hi guys, i bought 2 adaptors to mount ww stromberg onto grey motor, and i have just come across 11 more! (if anybodys interested, pm me).
i was thinking that it would be best to buy the new speco adaptor that goes from ww stromberg to holley, one 350 holley would be plenty for the grey huh?
anyway thanks for your help Craig

hi mate. im 15 this year, so its good to see another younger person getting into old holdens. we (me, and the old man) own an fc holden with a pretty hot 350, and the next thing to do wil be change the fuel tank. it has the original one in it, and its an absolute pain, carrying petrol in a jerry can in the boot seems to be the way to go with a v8 and a original tank ![Smiley](http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
