yes the stainless strips are airbrushed on. i loved it-looks very kool.  it has a 3/4 cahssis (like a crs one, only longer ). ill post up a couple more pics soon.

           thanks for your reply.  i might look into that. i was tihnking of printing off a pic of something like fast eddies motor and getting it eye matched in 2pak-will see.

that looks pretty kool did you use photoshop? i have been playing with photoshop for a couple of days, i might post up a couple of pics ....

           i know what your saying, but when i stripped back the original gate off our ute (although it had 2" of bog) there was still raised sections in there (they were just in pretty far because of all the dents) . i still have the skin here (its pretty rooted)  but you can see the raised sections. i can take a pic? (BTW, im not having a go )

Ret is right, although any outrigger from fb-eh will do the job

i know this topic has been covered somewhere?? but i cant seem to find it.

we got our motor back bare (no paint or anything) and gave it a going over with etch primer.

the gearbox was also stripped back bare and had a going over with etch primer.

now we are at the stage where we want to paint up things.

does anybody know if the right grey is available, and in what brand, as ive heard of people using pressure paks and some doing them 2pak. which is better? if 2pak is good and will be ok over the etch primer i can go get something eye matched, but first i thought i would ask here

any help greatly appreciated, like usual

also if you cant drop the motor down, because it hits the mounts, and shaking the motor a litle doesnt work, you will then have to unbolt the mounts
