what have you got inside your motor? what box and diff and carb? whats your fuel system like, do you have a surge tank on top of the fuel tank? if so did you have to close it in around it or was the wood board over the spare area enough? did you get a manifold fabricated?

FE- FC are the same as some chevs, fb-ek have a orange band that goes around instead of a needle, hr i am sure also goes in but looks different again.
what i want to know is does 59-60 elcamino and impala speedo's go straight in and do they need to be recalorbrated if they can be and does it use the early holden cable end, anyone know or do i have to buy one to find out?

What is the border of a too far gone and good peroject these days. if you are going to replace the inner sills, outer sills, floor sections, do major reconstructive surgery on the A pillars and boot floor, swap the subframe, rebuild the doglegs in and out and put new rails underneath wich is what your average FC project requires now.

forgot to mention, we have a pain in the but law in nsw, the guy at the shop says its not really known if the plastic helps but its required, he could do uncovered quicker and cheaper but he said they were race only and i would be at risk if i was pulled over, worse thing is it takes some of the braided look away.

Thanks greame, i run out of time, typical of a day with good weather for working on the car we have a family function today, i still got a little welding done this morning and now i have the length for next saturday. there is a place around the corner called motorsport connections that makes them here, the fronts cost about $75 each, what did you pay for yours?

would anyone by chance know exactly how long a rear brake hose is, i have a hr rear, I need to do some running around tomorow morning and was going to stop in and order the rear hose if i get time, my old one was made of two joined together and was way to long, this hose will cost about $90 to get made in approved braided hose so it needs to be rite. should i make it slightly, like 1/2 " shorter if the car is about 5" lower than standard?
