The crash photo doesn't want to be shown, sorry for all the attempts.
The above photo was my parents EJ and caravan and mum in 1962. In those days the Sydney Caravan Show was a freebie at St Lukes Park Concord (now called Cintra Park). The caravan club my parents belonged to held a procession of vans to the show. They then assembled in the show and were able to stay in their vans for the duration of the show. Mal.

When I was on holidays a couple of months ago,I sighted this Propert Folding Caravan at the rear of a dealers yard.
I asked the salesman if it was for sale but was told it wasn't.
(I've only just developed the film)

Gary, The rods adjacent to the rear springs were called tramp rods in the old days. They prevented axle hop when accelerating hard from stationary.I made mine from a chrome plated FX taxi handrail. (My first Holden was a FX business model ex taxi sold minus rail) Mal FE outside my old house. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/customfc2/Holden/MalFE9-1.jpg)

Rob J Standard motor was fitted in 1976 from a car I wrecked. Have only done minor repairs to engine, not too keen to drive very far till a reco engine is fitted. Still have triple manifold, linkages, Jack Myers headers and well worn motor. Need to locate some very slim air filters as the rear carby was close to firewall. Also still have the car's original motor but is in need of reconditioning. Mal
