105  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: Nasco Scizzor Jack on: June 23, 2003, 11:56:49 AM
Hi guys,
Yes Graham your right the sedans used the scissor type jack and the wagon ute and vans used the mechanical bottle jacks. The sedans had a mount welded half way along the inner sill and floor for the knob of the scissor jack and the rest [wagons utes & vans] didn't have this mounting point. Hope this helps

111  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Re: FC On Ebay on: March 26, 2003, 07:37:25 AM
I think it's a standard tring to evolve into a special. The moulds on the back quarters are or look like special front door lower moulds. evryone has different tastes.
Note the rear screen has special moulds and the front  doesn't. But still it looks a tidy car.
112  General / General Board / Re: Too many Ebay links in our "For Sale" listing on: March 26, 2003, 07:26:48 AM
Hi guys,
I have to agree with you guys, I surf  ebay regularly as I do this site and  really don't think [without offending anyone] ebay links are needed in the parts For sale section.

Another 2 cents worth

113  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: Wagon or Sedan Bumpers? on: March 22, 2003, 02:53:04 AM
Hi Cat ,
There is no difference between a sedan and wagon  bumper.  Rear bumpers  are the same on all FE & FC,s sedans and wagons, but utes and vans have bumperettes. The only diifference in the front bars is the fe Specials had the " guard piece" around the No plate.
The Fe standards , commercials and FC,s did not have this guard section on the front bar .

Hope this helps

117  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: fe standard blinkers/ column on: January 24, 2003, 11:21:47 AM
Hi slim,
The blanking collar [where the indicator arm would be] is original equipment as Ret says on every thing fe/fc except the special models. You could however buy a nasco '' indicator package'' from your holden dealer.
Fe's standards/ vans & utes had no indicator lights on the front from the factory and Fc's standards/ vans & utes had  ''indicators'' on the front but they on these models were called park light assemblies.

KInd regards Mick
