Restoration Help / Re: FC dash - what goes here?

I have the same hole in my dash but  it was for the switch for the windscreen washer. Just a simple push and water would squirt onto the screen.

Hello all, has anyone got some straight cuts for a grey they want to sell. I am doing up a hot grey and want it to make a bit of noise.

Hi all,

I have a set of these for my FE when I get around to restoring her and I can tell you that they weigh a ton. They have to be cast bronze or something like that.

Thanks custom FC, that is the set up I will be going for with my old grey. I need to save up a bit of money first but hopefully I can get started on it soon.

Give it your best shot numb nuts, I have already worked something out with her. You also have to be careful, I was told that you scared Tess so much with your paunch that she is doing a runner to Sydney ;) ;) ;).

I suppose I should apologise seeing you havent paid me yet.

  With love, Andy :-* :-*

Can someone meet him please and keep him there, the IQ of tassie will go up in leaps and bounds if 4headswells stays away.

Thanks Rob, I would love to go and look at some cars. But I think you should know that if anything happens to me the norman will get a nice acid bath, as I believe if I cannot enjoy it, no one will, HA  HA  HA ( my evil laugh ).

Andy.

p.s. dont flatter yourself, I know you want my balls. As each time I help you at the bakery, I do something wrong and you say " I will have your balls for that "

Only half you say, I think if I done that Rob J would cut off my balls. I must say it is a very good copy of one, if I knew who did it I would get him to do some more and flog them off.

Andy ;D ;D

Thanks for all the info, I will be soon sending the cam off for the grind. I have the Eldred book but its a bit over my head ( and thats not hard ) so I will be sending it to Jamie.

Also 186RED the supercharger is for a 138 grey motor and there is a photo of it in real cars (Andrews cool collection )

Thanking you all, Andy

Hello Tony, I hope this is the numbers that you wanted,

Casting No 29, and between the water inlets are,

   70LW
    457

I hope this is what your require, also if Rob thinks I am going to GIVE the norman to him he is in for a bit of a shock, all I can say is that he had better have some deep pockets as inflation has almost doubled the price ;D ;)

Hey Rob remember I am a shift worker, my brain is nearly always fried. But thanks torque, I sometimes forget to ask Rob these questions first. I will get some photos of it and post on here.

Thanking you, Andy

General Technical / Cam for norman suprcharger
November 30, 2005, 09:19:52 AM
I was wondering where would be the best place to send my cam to be professionally worked. I am putting it into a grey with a Norman, I have the book about the supercharger, so I hope the right details can be found in it. But I don't know where to send it to be done. My mechanic wants me to get it right so the motor runs smooth.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, Andy

Yes thanks Rob, there is nothing like trying to dodge bullets while trying to find out what is that wreck over there. At least I am a good sprint over 50 meters so my ass is safe from the dogs as long as Rob J remembers to tell me they are coming.

I want 50% of all royalties due to the fact the camera dosent belong to Rob and first option to all NOS stuff he finds. I think that is a fair deal as he said he would take me along for a ride to look at all the old cars, I am heart broken here, I am now too emotional to write anymore
