mickrat, can you give Bob Pyz a ring at Rare Spares head office (93054000). He had a long length of the standard rubber he was able to cut off and then join at the bottom centre to make a rear screen rubber. There are no moulded corners on the rear. This is how I did the rear screen rubber on my 217.
Tell him that you have been referred by me.
Not sure whether any more rubber exists but it is worth a try.

Ken
Hello ken    i am wondering if the rear window rubbers for the standard sedan are now available  if so how much including postage  and what is your preferred method of payment  with thanks   Mick johnson  (mickrat)  Burnie  Tasmania

G'day guys,

Just chasing a rear bumper for my FC wagon, doesn't have to be in great nick. Also if anyone has a stromberg carb available I'd be interested.

Preferably if the SEQ region, although I can get up to Toowoomba fairly easily and I'm headed down to Casino in the near future.
A pair of complete bumpers on e bay at the moment  ballarat vic

Recently purchased a replacement, for my original FE ignition switch, and found packaging identification not compatible with car and it has cost a considerable sum of money extra, to install by a licensed Auto Electrician. Has any one else experienced any problems with incompatible components/packaging.
As an auto electrician myself I can tell you that it is not expensive to install and modify wiring to suit  replacement switch  I think you got ripped off  !!  Mickrat  tassy

How advanced - we only had 3 digit phone numbers in those days.
Love the Police car ....... John (Red Devil)?
Wasnt unusual for telephones to have low numbers back then  a phone was a novelty  I remember when we finally got one  was the only one in the area  and people would often drop in to use the phone

Restoration Help / rear window rubber

I am desperately trying to locate a rear window rubber for my fe business sedan. No chrome dressings.  Can any one tell me where I can purchase one. Would consider a good second hand one. With thanks. Mickrat tassy.
