Ok. This year we are travelling with our caravan and neighbours and dogs and therefore as we will be moving on asap we will not be attending the nationals.  We will come for a look at the show n shine tho and hope to meet familiar faces.
Cheers Hotlips and Greg

Yes, all booked!!!  Bringing our caravan for a holiday before and after. See you all then. Cheers Hotlips

Hi Paul, any update on those cars?  Still for sale? And are they in Australia yet? Cheers

:(Sorry Surferboy but have sold nearly all parts along with the restorable ute.  Just keep a lookout for a Land Rover with the numberplates "HOTLIPS".  Cheers

:D :D Yep all booked in and entered BUT without EFFEE.  We have sold her to a very nice man who has other veteran/vintage/classic vehicles. Why, you ask. Well as Greg's back became increasingly worse for wear, it became apparent that he wouldn't be able to keep up with her need for attention.  As we have now established ourselves in Tantanoola (south east SA) and growing our own fruit and vegetables, it became apparent that we were spending little time with her and the last thing we wanted was to see her waste away. I have no regrets as we are very busy with our lifestyle now and loving it!!!!  See you all soon. Luv Greg and Kate (Hotlips)

;D Fantastic news.  I luuvvv this show and love the cars that appear especially the blue station wagon that seems to be parked almost in every episode.  Cheers

;) Just letting everyone know that the Big 4 is fully booked out for cabins, only powered sites left.

OK guys, thanks for all the imput but the first photo shows the strip also going along to the back panel.  The trim I am looking for starts by joining up with the special guard spear and then travels straight along the drivers door til about half way and starts curving downwards - then continuing onto the rear door it continues to curve right down to the bottom of the door right next to the wheel arch. This last piece is what I am looking for.  An owner here in Mt Gambier has just finished restoring his FC and he is missing this bit.  Cheers Hotlips =--

STEWY - YES YES YES this is the one

We have lots of parts but Rare Spares or Restorers Hotline in Adelaide have new scuff plates. As for window channels - you can have channels made by a sheet metal shop and then some fabrication might be needed to join old with new.

Not sure what you showing me in the photo (looks like the flash) but the kit I am talking about is either a Florida, Tilley, Detroit etc. Cheers
;D

:D Hi Jox, my partner Greg will send you a picture of the car to your email address.  Cheers

I am not sure which kit this trim piece belongs to, but it starts from the drivers door and then slopes down onto the rear door (drivers side). It is that rear door piece that is missing and as the car is completely restored to its original condition this is the only bit that is needed.  If necessary, the need to purchase a full kit is also okay.

;)Hi, we live in south eastern S.A. (near Mt Gambier) and YES we have a tail light surround (actually we have a few!). How much are you expecting to pay plus postage??  Cheers

:'( Another gentleman Greg and I enjoyed catching up with at Nationals. A sad loss - condolences to family and friends.  :( :(

Hi Greg, thanks for the list of accommodation but could you tell me which one will be the "Headquarters" for the NATS. Cheers Hotlips ;)

Sorry, I should have said that we wanted a STOCK FE/FC wagon.  Cheers

:) Hi everybody - just want to know if anybody is interested in swapping a 2002 Monaro for a FE/FC wagon (with approx worth of each  $17,000-$20,000).  Greg and I have bought a Mitsubishi Triton as with our bad backs it is much easier to get into.  Cheers Hotlips

:o Heard a rumour that the forum website was hacked into - was this the problem??  ???

;) Looks like a "one colour" FC - not many of those seen about!!

;D Thanks FCRB - 14 years coming up!!
