... and a bit of an article about it here > https://www.theage.com.au/national/act/proposed-monaro-rail-trail-sparks-memories-of-adventure-by-ordinary-road-bike-20180102-h0cccr.html

Thanks NES! Enjoy  ;)

Hi....

This isn't an original idea of mine, but rather an adaptation of a drawing I saw online once.

Cheers, Les...

Thanks Alex!
I wasn't sure if any of the pics showed up on this post? I can see them on the computer I posted them from, but not on my work computer? Have to get back into posting so I can work it out again  ;)

Les...

Hi guys...

Haven't posted in ages, so thought I should start again...

About 12 months ago I took a bunch of my FE and FC drawings and made an iMessage "sticker app"... (just for iphone and ipad text messaging)

I think I've sold about 18 of them since then (I'm not much of a salesman). I won't be making a million bucks from it, just a bit of fun...

Yeah, sorry... I'm not sure where that pic was from....

I can do better with this one though.... ;D

New South Head Road in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney, May 17, 1960

Love that "John Allans" pic!

Long time since I've posted a pic here.... Found this one the other day...... ;)

Cool story 87 velo!!
I always wonder if someone will recognize their car from one of these old pics one day, but also great to hear from someone who was actually there!!

Cheers...

The caption on this pic says "The 440 bus to Leichhardt gets wedged between the curb and a parked car in Hampshire Lane, Annandale, Sydney on 18 March 1960. SMH NEWS Picture by BARRY GILMOUR.

Just thought I'd post a couple of pics I've found from "past" news ;)

I saw an article in the Herald the other day about the last Shark victim to die in Sydney - January 28, 2013 marked exactly 50 years since the incident. Among the pics with the story was this one. It shows an FE parked on the side of the road while everyone is trying to push the Ambulance up the hill. The article says the ambulance broke down....

You can't tell if the FE is a police car, ambulance or not, but it does have a matching arial in the centre of it's roof like the broken-down ambulance does....
