Hi Kath & Karen,

I took my daughter to QLD to visit my grandparents and while I was away my hubby was hard at work on my ek. He surprised me by painting the spats, putting on white wall flappers and painting the roof and visor white with silver metal flake. I was so excited when I saw it!!!
What a good husband hey? hehe :)

Hope to chat with ya's soon,
Renee

Hi Kath,

Yeah my car has the skirts on now, hubby put em on Saturday arvo. They are yet to get a coat of paint, another job on the long long list. My 307 will probably take ages, it was supposed to be a quick job (IF THERE IS SUCH A THING!!!!!) Life gets the better, not much time for playing with cars.
Good Luck with the fc ;D

Renee

Hi Karen,
3 girls under 5!!! AND a lazy husband!!!! Oh my god, you are a brave women. I struggle with 1 girl under 5, and my husband helps me (most of the time) ;)
Your fb looks cool, would have loved one myself but I cant drive manual!!!

Cheers,

Renee :)

Hi Kath,
Hmmm, I'd have to say no on the offer of more kids. I do not plan on having anymore of my own! I work with 29 of them everyday (including my daughter) so it gets a little much.
We did go to the drive in last night, shame we didnt  get to meet. I think you guys were watching the chicken little movie. We watched the other one. My husband said he saw your wagon. Must be nice with the power of a v8. I have an ek with a 307 chev in it. We are still doing the conversion, almost there just a few odds and ends to finish. I try and help my hubby where I can. Im not very mechanical but I do try! :)
Good talking to you,

Renee

Hey Harko,

My husband brought my ek from a guy in Arncliffe just before Christmas last year. He had it sitting under a carport for 5 yrs. My husband did some minor repairs and I got it registered. Its originally a VIC car. We have the original  books and other info on it. Including a photo of the car in 1966 with the ladys puppy.
If you know anything about the car, would be nice to know.
PS Your car is C :) :)L

:) :)ALEX, is that your car? we see it around our area a fair bit, in Narellan NSW :) :) Its very  C :) :)L too!

Hi Kath,

So good to know there are other women out there who like their cars! Our 3 yr old daughter is learning fast, hopefully she will be a future hot rodder just like her dad and I.

Talk soon,

Renee

Was hard at work polishing the grill on my ek the other day and got to thinking that it would be good to have some friends(of the female kind) to converse with about my car.All of my friends think I drive a bomb(slack, I know, but I just tell myself that they are uneducated)So in hope to make some female friends that appreciate classic cars as much as I do, I am posting this. I have posted this on the fb ek forum but its seems there are no girls. Why are cars a guys thing? We need more girl power!!! :)

Hi Torque and Stinky,

Just wanted to let ya's know that I got my skirts! Finally got onto to Paul from Smooth Cruisin, should have early next week. Thanks again for your help! :)

Renee

Im a member of the fb ek forum, I did contact craig a while ago and he said that he couldnt post em to Sydney, so I gave up on that one.
Thanks for your help, I will keep on searching :)

Renee

Hi everyone,

Im after custom bubble skirts for my ek, I have contacted Paul from smooth cruisin, but his phone # has since been disconnected. (0732875900) If someone knows how I can get in contact with him again  please let me know! Or if you know of anyone else that makes custom spats for ek's?

Renee
