Is this highly sought after in original? it came without the chrome strips...Is it hard to acquire?

You can expect a complete kit to cost quite a few hundred dollars, even second-hand. Just so you know what you're looking for, this particular kit is called a "Tilli's Detroit Flash", and is one of about a half-dozen assorted varieties. (Others for FE include Victoria, Victoria Twin-Line, and Dart, OTTOMH).
