Title: Hand brake cable connection Post by: JohnBM on January 15, 2021, 07:25:00 PM Just interested to know if a cir clip was used when fitting the front cable to the hand brake projection thru the firewall . The cable has the ball fitting into the recess & the hand brake shaft it sits in has a slot around it . Just put in a new boot rubber in the firewall & it’s since been brought to my attention a cir clip was installed when new . I didn’t notice one when I removed the old boot . Cheers ,John .
