Title: Colour of the timber in Ute tray
Post by: BWF on July 08, 2020, 05:56:51 PM
Can anybody tell me what colour I should paint the timber in the Ute tray base to be the same as the original factory colour in my 57 FC Ute? The exterior colour is dark green over light green

I asked the same question a few years ago and the advice I received is that the deck was originally hardened Masonite, dark brown in colour and not painted. Hope that helps, Fraze

This is the original GMH specification.  Have found this recently

Mundi Brown lacquer sounds familiar. I think humpy was same. Very interesting document. Thanks for posting.
