Title: Australia Day
Post by: surferboy on January 28, 2013, 10:27:12 PM
For the 3rd year running the WA club has been given the opportunity to run the local Bunnings store sausage sizzle on Australia Day. This started as a fundraising day for the Nats but the store is happy for us do this each year. We bring down some of the club cars to put on a display of our Aussie vehicles. It turned out a beaut day being on the Saturday with sunny skies and a mid 30's Temp.

We had people lining up all day. They especially loved our Australia Day special ... LAMB & Rosemary sausages ( We sold out by 10.00am  ;D)

Some of the hard working crew

People love looking at our cars, and the venue means there are those who might not go to car shows who get the opportunity to admire them. People take photos all day. This tow-truck driver wanted a pic of his truck with the cars. Natural attraction meant the tow truck parked next to surferboys wagon  ::))
