Title: 1950s/60s Train set Post by: dnb on August 28, 2008, 08:48:15 PM I have an old model train set that I have no use for, perhaps someone could find it a new home.
It's probably early 1960s going by the booklet I have with it, was given to a friend of mine when a little tucker, he is mid 50s now...... There are 2 engines, electric, 3 carriages and a oil tanker. It is English made with Australian markings. I don't have a transformer and to get it to operate would require a little work. But if someone wants a period item for display in their garage etc this might suit you. Comes with tracks and would clean up nicely. If interested please send message.
