Hey Leon.
If you ask nicely, perhaps a forum member from WA will pick up for you. You would have to deposit into their account and it would depend on where the guy lives.
Just a thought.
Otherwise you will just have to hope the guy is honest. That's all part of dealing with ebay.
Regards
Alex

You've got a cousin who lives in the next town who you would like to send over ...
Can I please have a time suitable to veiw the item ,and an address (1 and 2 contact detail's plus he is genuine if he gives them)
Your cousin cant make it because he has a tounament fight but hey he is in the next town if anything goes wrong ..
Failing that an air fare is cheap or send Big Bad Torque for a talk :)

My rule for Ebay is follow your instincts and keep a look out for red flags ...

 G'day Leon
The bloke bought the item on June 20 for $570.00 from Victoria and paid $50.00 freight. Got a positive feedback from the seller

I would go and get it for you but Geraldton is 5 hours up the coast...bugger

Cheers
Gary

I sold an aluminium Holden V8 flywheel on Ebay and sent it C.O.D to the buyer.Didn't cost me anything to send.Buyer pays your selling price plus postage and a  C.O.D cost when he receives it.
Aust Post then sends me a money order for the selling price of the flywheel. No problems.

If the buyer doesn't pay and pickup the item after (I think, 1 month) then its sent back to the sender who then has to pay postage both ways >:(.

Only problem is if the item has been misrepresented by the seller then you are stuck with trying to sort out a refund.Or its a scam and he sends you say, 2 house bricks!! Laugh, but its probably happened!!

C.O.D at least gets you a parcel like fatboy said and is probably better than paying and then hoping the seller actually sends it to you.

Terry.

FE ute, I checked that out too, I was watching the first auction aswell but didnt bid.
FB mad and FC windowless van, I just sent a message to see if he will allow pick ups or send cod.

I nearly paid for a item a few weeks ago from a guy in victoria with simular feedback, then I noticed some new neg feedback from buyers not recieving there item and the next day the seller was no longer registered, close call.

ok, pick ups are ok wich makes it seem a bit safer.

fc windowless van, could you let me know if anything can be arranged.

atleast now I know he has the item so if nothing can be arranged I feel a bit safer getting it sent.

drop john a email, I told him about it and he said he has a mate, who owns a service station up there, and you should be able to come to an agreement.

Thanks Steve, turns out the seller knows Johns mate gary and is going to drop the supercharger of to him and collect the payment from Gary who is going to send me the supercharger.
Think I might owe a few drinks if I ever run into a few people.
