Title: Inlet Port Guides Post by: Rod on June 13, 2006, 10:19:17 PM High All,
I have a grey head with minor port work. My question is "Should the Inlet Port Guides be matched to the port and manifold?" Currently the guide is slightly raised and not matched with the port work. Would this disrupt the flow hence effect performance?? As a side issue is it important to match the exhaust port to manifold? Cheers Rod Title: Re: Inlet Port Guides Post by: TorqueFC on June 13, 2006, 10:50:59 PM usually its a standard procedure if you port the head, you do the inlet to match, and usually if youve got a worked motor you wouldnt be running your exhaust manifold... :o ;)
