Title: Piston size?
Post by: FE_225 on August 02, 2002, 12:32:59 AM
Hi Guys
Could someone please tell me what size these pistons are? They're from an FB/EK block with the part number 7406474. I'm wondering if they are standard 138 or oversize. Thanks
Cheers
Tony

Tony my guess is that they are standard 138 if they came out of a FB/EK block. If they were oversized they would have 10, 20, 30, 40 or 60 stamped on top of the piston to indicate how many thou oversized they are.
To double check and to be on the safe side you need to measure the size of the piston and / or measure the diameter of the bore.
Hope this helps.

Thanks John. I was hoping they'd be standard, not to worry.....

Thanks Rod for the metric conversions, it will come in handy.
